INVENTIO: A SENSATIONAL NEW DEVELOPMENT
MECA HAS NEWLY DEVELOPED A DOUBLE CHAIN STITCH QUILTER that breaks traditional structures and rules in the production of mattress borders making all other machines producing single mattress borders obsolete.
INVENTIO is a new and unique machine that flips and revolutionizes the whole current technology involved in multineedle machines, allowing to run straight sewing lines while simultaneously quilting 180° and 360° patterns, with or without cording.
Only this new technology allows to produce, directly from material rolls (not from pre-cut stripes anymore), ultimately eliminating the storage of pre-cut rolls in various sizes, leading to the optimization of the manufacturing time.
Up to 8-12 mattress borders quilted on standard, 360° or cording patterns, framed between straight sewed lines and automatically and precisely cut between two seams in order to obtain borders with seams at 1/4” from the edges, therefore getting rid of the need for overlocking the borders, which are then ready to be assembled on the mattresses’ body.
